The design of this front courtyard, hidden from the street, required a striking focal point on arrival through the front gate and from the adjacent terrace that leads off the main living area.
The resulting water feature and garden was inspired by the client's antique French gates collected during their travels. The client also had a particular fondness for native and exotic grasses.
A nectarine and cream Frangipani was planted in the warm zone of a north facing wall and the colour and perfume are perfect on a warm summer's evening. |
